Designed for safe use around children and pets, this humane pest control solution repels a wide range of insects and rodents without harmful chemicals or killing. Absolutely no cruelty or testing on animals has been used in the making of this and all our products. The only testing that has been done is completely humane testing to find the best blend of the essential oils used to be the most effective repellent. Is your product toxic or chemically based? We only use 100% natural peppermint, lavender, and citronella essential oils in our product. It contains no toxins or chemicals. What happens if I get it on clothes, carpets, or cloth? Once diluted in accordance with the usage instructions and used as a spray our product will not stain or damage these items. It can also be safely used to deter moths from damaging clothes in wardrobes, etc. What science are your claims based upon? None… we just know it works because we use it ourselves. That's how the product was created many years ago :) Is your product safe around children? You should always keep essential oils out of sight and reach of children. As our product was originally created because our kids really hated creepy crawlies, once dilute to the usage instructions and once old enough, you will probably find your children using it themselves. Our kids certainly have had fun spraying their windows and places where spiders may be hiding! How often do I need to use it and how long does the small last? Because our deterrent is aroma based you should maintain the aroma in the places where you are trying to repel pests or bugs. We find that spraying once or twice per day, renewing cotton wool balls weekly and occasional oil burner/diffuser use is effective. Is your packaging recyclable? Yes, all our packaging is able to be recycled with normal household recycling. ## Features - Concentrated solution. 100% natural, humane, super kind & long lasting - No chemicals and no killers. Our active ingredients are peppermint, lavender and citronella essential oil. Our product repels (they don’t like it!) and does not kill or harm spiders, insects or rodents. It smells nice to us humans though :) No harmful nasties and only completely natural ingredients. Safe for children and animals. Just dilute with tap water. One 30ml bottle will give you a handy spider, rodent and insect repellent for ages & ages. - Handy Travel Spray - We have included a 5ml spray bottle as a handy ‘quick spray’ option for specific places at home (bedroom window for example) or if you are out and about (flies near your picnic hamper?). Once full it will provide approximately 40 average sprays. One drop of oil mixed with fresh water will do the trick! - Brilliantly Effective for Home, Indoor, Outdoor, Garden & Holidays - We use the most effective natural repellents combined in our unique formula. Use around the house, on motion detectors, sensors, burglar alarms, CCTV cameras, in the garden, in outside sheds, your garage, in the office, in the car, at picnics, windows, doorways, outbuildings and indeed everywhere you need to! Comparable to DEET and neem oil in effectiveness, but our repellent is more cost effective and less harmful. Add spray on blocks, sachets, hangers, granules, etc. too! I don’t really like killing things with chemicals so wanted something humane. Really glad I found this. Not sure if the flies sensed I was going to buy this cause not really had any since then. I sprayed some on the windowsill and can report no flies. Really glad that people aren’t there making humane products as we don’t want to kill everything all the time just stop them coming in ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Natural product . Smells nice too . Actually works *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 12 July 2026* Was skeptical when I first bought but thought would try it .Has kept spiders away from windows and doors. Haven’t seen one at all. Since using. Even kept the flies away.Would recommend. Great that’s it natural oils .. smells nice too . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Only Refill Spray bottle is rubbish, otherwise all good! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 December 2025* Repellent itself has no problem, but the refill bottle leaks, it doesn’t spray, it just leaked around the bottle, and my fingers was so oily. I just throw it away. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/660381625-spider-insect-and-rodent-repellent-spray-makes-15-litres-peppermint](https://www.desertcart.us/products/660381625-spider-insect-and-rodent-repellent-spray-makes-15-litres-peppermint) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
