You can sew over the nylon on the zippers without harming your needle. The zippers open and close easily. The price was excellent and the delivery of the product was on time. I would definitely purchase them again. There are so many great colors as well.
Review: Good product - Great value for the money. Colors seem to be as shown in photo. Zippers seem slightly shorter than name-brand zippers. This 14" zipper is approximately 11-3/4" from stop-tab to stop-tab and fabric surrounding it is about 13-1/4". My 14" name brand is 14" from stop-tab to stop-tab and fabric surrounding it is approximately 15". But when I am making a dress or top, I adjust the opening in the garment to the zipper itself so this size difference doesn't really matter in my sewing projects.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can they be cut down to fit 4"?**
A: Yes, They can. I have trimmed several of them down to fit different size makeup bags. You can also add fabric zipper tabs to give the cut ends a finished look. Just be sure to put some stitches across the end you cut to replace the little metal connector.

**Q: What is the zipper width?**
A: the total width of zippers is about 24mm to 25mm

**Q: If I wanted to replace the zipper pull what size would I have to buy? #5 or #3?**
A: All zipper pulls are the same size no matter what size the zipper is, with the exception of separating zippers for jackets.
I'm not sure I understood your question, but I think any size zipper pull would work to replace an existing zipper pull.  Not sure how you're going to replace it...but I guess you have that figured out.

**Q: What is the width on each side of the zipper or total width?**
A: the total width is about 24mm

Great value for the money. Colors seem to be as shown in photo. Zippers seem slightly shorter than name-brand zippers.
