If you want to get closer to the action, there is just no substitute for the zoom you get on a camcorder like this. Whether it's your kids at a soccer game or wildlife on an outing, this camcorder let's you get closer to the action. Resolution is great, display is bright, and it's super easy to use. One trick to know is that it has two modes, on for still and one for video. So if you've been taking pictures (using the top button) and you click video recording (using the back button) the display will say "please wait" for a second. Click again and it will say "Starting recording". That's it. Just point and shoot. Couldn't be simpler to use. Zoom toggle is perfectly placed under your index finger. Super compact, fits in the palm of your hand. Comes with a nice boom mic and protective soft case. Definitely would recommend this camera/camcorder...don't miss the action!
