Review: FANTASTIC!! - Just delivered and after a thorough inspection I have to say this Ensete Red Banana is a superb specimen. No damage, excellent condition and even the delivery man was gentle with the box whilst passing it to me!. The Ensete is only a baby as described from the seller but when they go into the ground they grow fast. I will personally pot this on until next year and let it mature a little then it will go outside in the garden with the others. I live in North Dorset in a very high place and Bananas do thrive up here but remember to fleece them up at the first sign of frosts in the Autumn. When they are to big to fleece then they are big enough to look after themselves!. I have found that growing a few together with Palms etc not only look pleasing but they create a mini micro climate together and that helps also.
