## Description

Elk and Friends Kids + Toddler Glass Cups | The Original 12oz Glass Mason Jar with Sleeves + Lids | Silicone Straws + Stopper | Smoothie Cup | Food Storage | Spill Resistant | Dishwasher Safe | 4 Pack

Review: Nice cups! - Really love these cups. My kids hate the leak proof straws on most cups so these are a great solution and I haven't had them leak even when tipped over. They're slightly heavy but they're definitely durable. The only cons for me are that the straws really soak up any soap smells/taste so I've had to go to an all natural unscented dish detergent but that's probably better anyway. And the gasket/washer thing that's in the lid to give it a tight seal is definitely going to get lost in our house hold. It's almost clear and really thin, I just know they won't last long, but the cup seems to work fine and not leak without them.
Review: Good quality but buyers remorse. Not for toddlers - I like the construction of these but I jumped the gun purchasing them. I unboxed one and my 3 yr old knocked it off the counter and it shattered even with the silicone cover on. Was sad to realize they aren’t actual mason jars and they do not sell just the replacement glass. A little worried about the thin small silicone part that goes inside the rim. I see those getting lost in my house. Appreciated the cleaning brush that was included. The actual lid is plastic like that from a 3d printer. They are not leak proof as the lid is hard plastic and there is a tiny bit of space around the straw. The sleeves are very hard to get off and I am interested in seeing how well they clean if you don’t take it off.

## Features

- THE ORIGINAL GLASS MASON JARS: Perfectly sized for little hands and big thirsts, the 12oz glass mason jars are made for everyday moments. From morning smoothies to backyard adventures, these jars make sipping water, juice or milk fun and worry-free anywhere, anytime.
- PROTECTION FOR ADVENTUROUS SIPPERS: The silicone sleeves help protect the glass from bumps and drops – perfect for kids who are on the go. Each straw has a built-in stopper (no more disappearing straws!) and is wide enough for smoothies. Lightweight and durable, these jars are the ultimate all-in-one solution for kids and parents alike.
- TWO LIDS, TWICE THE FUN: The spout style lid, paired with a silicone straw offers a gentle introduction to independent drinking, while the leak proof storage lids are great for snacks or leftovers. Please Note: While our jars are ready for action, they’re not spill-proof superheros. If tipped upside down, liquid may sneak out through the straw as we don’t use valves to keep them smoothie friendly.
- SAFE, DURABLE MATERIALS: Made from glass, food grade silicone and BPA-free plastic, the materials are non-porous, safe, microwave and dishwasher safe (no need to remove the silicone sleeve!). Built to last and independently tested by third-party experts to meet all important safety standards, they’re made for busy families who value quality, trust and peace of mind.
- ELK AND FRIENDS: Since 2015, we have been creating mindfully designed, environmentally friendly products for the most precious little people in your life. Safe, fun and made with natural materials, every design is crafted with care for both kids and the planet. Thank you for choosing Elk and Friends – we’re so happy to be part of your family’s journey.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality but buyers remorse. Not for toddlers

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tough as heck and pretty spill proof
*by M***M on June 1, 2026*

These things are built. They’ve taken plenty of toddler-grade abuse — drops, throws, the works — and the glass has held up better than I expected (the silicone sleeve definitely helps). Spill-resistant lids do the job, no soaked couches so far. The one quirk is the straw. Sometimes my son just can’t pull enough water or milk through — I think the straw gets suctioned to the bottom, or there’s not enough airflow inside the cup. He gives up and asks for help, or the lid pops off and we’re back to spill-risk drinking. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing. Pros: • Glass is tougher than expected, silicone sleeve helps • Spill-resistant when sealed • Easy to clean (dishwasher safe) • Right size for little hands • Looks nicer than plastic toddler cups Cons: • Straw can suction to the bottom, making it hard to drink • May not work well for younger or weaker sippers • Glass is still glass — hard floors can win Tips: • Don’t overfill — leave room at the top for airflow • Show your kid the trick of pulling the straw up slightly to break the suction • Replace the straws periodically if they get bent or clogged
