It does present some downsides. External flash won't work so this item must be removed. I do enjoy the cold shoe on top so I can attach a mic and mobile phone mount. Well done! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great accessory for your camera *by S***E on September 7, 2026* Good fit, good construction. This little thing gives me much more confidence and control in holding my expensive camera. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tight fit! *by S***M on July 11, 2026* It’s a little tight. This might be up your alley if you’re someone who never uses the shoe otherwise, but if you push it in all the way it takes a great deal of effort to push it off—more than necessary, in my opinion. However, it’s comfortable, sturdy metal, and achieves what it set out to do. ## Frequently Bought Together - SMALLRIG Thumb Grip for Sony Alpha 7C II/Alpha 7CR / Alpha 7C, Ergonomic Design, Built-in Cold Shoe, for Light, Microphone, Weight Only 8g (Sliver) - 4818 - SmallRig Base Plate for Sony A7C II/A7CR, Bottom Mount Plate (Silver) with Built-in Quick-Release Plate for Arca, QD Socket, Strap Slot, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 Threaded Hole - 4439 - SMALLRIG A7CII A7CR Camera Viewfinder Eyecup, Viewfinder Eye Cup with Small Lanyard, Soft Silicone Material, Improving Shooting Stability, for Sony Alpha 7C II/Alpha 7CR - 4819 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/658661087-a7c-ii-a7cr-a-7cthumb-grip-weight-only-8g-sliver](https://www.desertcart.us/products/658661087-a7c-ii-a7cr-a-7cthumb-grip-weight-only-8g-sliver) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
