This is the best car cover I have purchased. I have kept my car outside and covered with several different brands of covers. I live in Louisiana and the sun is brutal and normally tears a car cover up in a few month. I have had this one for about 8 months and it has only faded slightly and is not 'shedding' the inner lining on to my car. This one fits my car perfectly. The straps are heavy duty black straps that are sewn well into the cover. They are not the cheap white straps that disintegrate in the first 6 months. The elastic in the front and back hold the cover pretty well, but the straps on the front and back really secure it. If it is really windy, use the strap in the middle that goes under the car, it will keep the cover from ever being blown away. I thought I would never use the door opening, but I have used it several times and it did come in handy.
