We were using old bath towels as a hack for under-door noise suppression, but like these so much better because they look nice, can be sized to fit the doorway, suppress noise much better, and swing with the door so we don't have to keep repositioning them every time we open the door. I like mine so much that I just ordered a third for my office. We both found, too, that we didn't need to use the adhesive strips. The strap between the pads on one end is sufficient to keep the pads from sliding off the bottom of the door when it pivots on its hinges.
