11851301 Rapidon Petrol Can White with Litre Scale 6 l

I was hesitant about spending this amount of money on a plastic petrol can. I mean, how much better can it be?I used to use a metal jerry can with clamp on spout. It works reasonably well but there is always some spillage.This one feels sturdy and is made in Switzerland.The design really does make this easy to use and almost 100% spill free. Filling in the centre is easy, wide spout. Won't tip over in the car boot due to low, flat design.Another reviewer said when he went to use his nothing happened. Pressed and pressed the button and got nothing. So did I initially until I realised I just wasn't pressing the plunger hard enough! It then worked fine, starts and stops as it should.The spout can be adjusted and there are markers for the level within. Transparent material means you can also see how much is in there unlike many other cans.This is a bit expensive there is no doubt about that. Says it is technically not suitable for long term storage.If it lasts as it should then I am happy with it. Will update this review if anything changes.Recommended.

This was recommended to me by a neighbour. Very easy to use and absolutely no spills. A bit on the expensive side but it is very easy to control the flow rate and easy to see when the tank you are filling is full. Highly recommend.

Easily used

Excellent fuel can for petrol or diesel made out of strong plastic with round stickers to stick to the cap for identification of the fuel.Holds 6 litres so slightly more than the usual 5 litre cans. The volumes are marked on the can both vertically and horizontally so you can see how much fuel is in the can when it's on the floor or when turned up dispensing fuel.The trigger allows accurate control of the fuel flow and folding spout saves having to use a funnel and reduces the risk of spillage when trying to fill up, especially if you're on a bouncing boat trying to fill an outboard engine.Just make sure there's no water got into the folding spout before you press the release trigger.

Simple to use, love the fact it’s practically impossible to spill. Clear container means you can see how empty it is. Little expensive, but you have to pay for quality.

Fantastic product and very easy/quick to use.This is my third one.The only issue I have is they seem to last for around five years before the seals go and they start to leak but as a landscape gardener we do use them all the time.A bit expensive, but if you regularly use a petrol can you won’t regret it!

Expensive for a petrol can but I was sold after seeing the video of all it's features. It really has been a great buy. I use it every day to fill gardening equipment. It certainly cuts down spills etc that I've had before from the cheap cans that you have to screw a nozzle onto. It isn't completely drip proof as I have had petrol leak out of the red nozzle after I've released the trigger, but you get used to that and just make sure that you give it a good shake when you've finished. ;-) Personally I would highly recommend this to anyone. At some point I'll probably invest in a second one to hold my 2 stroke petrol/oil mix.

j'ai acheté ce bidon car je participais a une course de model réduits sur 12H d'endurance.il me fallait un bidon pratique , facile a prendre en main et sans risque de débordement.après 12H d'utilisation intensive, je suis très satisfais du bidon, il ne fuit pas et le système incorporais permet de faire des ravitaillement propre, j'ai juste rallongé la sortie pour l'utilisation désirais.

Las garrafas aunque sean pequeñas son un engorro para rellenar maquinaria como motosierras y desbrozadoras. Por mucho cuidado que se tenga es fácil que desborde o se derrame algo, sobre todo cuando lo tenemos que hacer en exterior mientras trabajamos con ellas.El sistema del bidón es muy ingenioso y controlamos fácilmente el caudal sin que haya derrames.Es caro para ser una garrafa, pero es muy cómoda y con el tiempo seguro que se ahorra con gasolina sin verter. Trae una escala de 1 a 6 litros y unas pegatinas para etiquetarla (2 tiempos, 4 tiempos y una en blanco).El plástico es durísimo (tiene buen espesor), incluso vacía no cede a las presiones que se le hagan, no como en otros envases que enseguida se aplastan o se abomban algo al llenarlos.
