Review: Works great for keeping bugs out of house - Although this spray is designed to be used as a bug spray, I've also found it effective for spraying around windows to deter pests. I had a really bad gnat problem in my apartment. The gnats were small enough to pass through our window screens, and although we would kill them with traps, more and more gnats would replace the ones killed. I looked at getting an outdoor perimeter bug spray, but all of them had toxic chemicals and were unsafe for pets. Since I have pets and would primarily be spraying this around windows, I wanted to make sure it wasn't toxic. I found this spray only used natural chemicals, and although it isn't designed to be used as a home perimeter spray I took the chance and purchased it. Glad that I did! It has worked really well for keeping our gnats. Just after 1 day I noticed all the gnats were gone in our place, and after 2 weeks the spray is still effective. Do keep in mind, the spray leaves an oily residue on surfaces. Made one of my windows foggy/messy, but it wasn't too big of an issue for me. Additionally, the spray does have a smell to it. It's not a terribly strong or bad smell, but it does have a smell. The smell lasted for about 3 days before fading.
