## Description

Product Description HG Drain Odour Remover is a targeted drain cleaner for bad smells in kitchen and bathroom waste systems. Deposits can collect on the inside of sinks, plugholes and pipes and cause unpleasant odours. The self-acting granules help clean and deodorise these areas, working as an odour eliminator rather than simply masking smells. It acts as a drain smell eliminator and odour neutraliser for household drain maintenance, not as a product for clearing blockages. Use it when a kitchen sink or household drain smells unpleasant. This drain odour eliminator is suitable for kitchen sinks, bathroom washbasins, shower trays, utility sinks, plugholes, waste pipes and compatible outdoor or patio drains. Use it as a sink cleaner, sink drain cleaner, kitchen drain cleaner or bathroom drain cleaner, as appropriate. The treatment also works as a sink odour eliminator and drain deodoriser, leaving the treated area smelling fresher after rinsing. One 500ml bottle provides ten treatments. Add 50ml, or five capfuls, per treatment. The granules work for 30 minutes and need no additional tools, making this drain freshener suitable for routine home care. How to use: First rinse the drain with hot water. Add 50ml (five capfuls) of granules directly into the drain and leave for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with hot water. Clear any spilled granules immediately using water. Do not use in a kitchen sink connected to a dishwasher. Wear suitable protective gloves and clothing, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and do not ingest. Use in a well-ventilated area. Never mix with other chemicals. Keep out of reach of children and always read the label before use. Includes one 500ml bottle of HG Drain Odour Remover granules. Discover the HG range, delivering quality specialist cleaning products since 1969 for kitchens, bathrooms and throughout the home, including HG Kitchen Drain Unblocker, HG Drain & Plug Unblocker and HG Drain Sticks. Review: Gets rid of stubborn smell - I am so impressed by this product. I used to use all kinds of drain unblock when we had issues with smell but this works a million times better. Got rid of horrible smell gradually over two days. I can’t recommend it enough. It says on the instructions to make sure you rinse stainless steel surfaces and none has the granules as it is obviously harsh chemicals. So read the instructions before complaint it stained your drain.
Review: Deodorises, perfumes and provides some cleaning. - Perfumed bleach granules, work best when activated using very hot water after applying. Does the job, deodorises and provides some ongoing maintenance cleaning. Would not use for difficult blockages as the granules do not activate well in cold stagnant water.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far it’s amazing
*by H***L on 2 July 2026*

I have problems with my sink in the summer months..has a dirty smell to it. I’ve used every cleaner I can think off and nothing has worked. I debated on this as it was expensive but as nothing else was working I thought I’d try it. Well..I’m impressed. I used it when it arrived on Monday and the smell disappeared. All week it’s been smelling fine, no odour. I did just do a repeat application today which is Thursday. Hopefully this will get me through the summer months. It is granules and I would be careful with it though. My sink is composite so I was careful that it didn’t spill onto a different surface
