It’s perfect to put on for a day in the sun at the beach because the protection is stellar and it’s equally good under makeup, actually it’s acts as a great makeup primer, it does not pil and you can reapply over your makeup without it causing streaks. You can smell the alcohol in it for about 5 seconds when you first apply it but that goes very quickly, other than that I’d say it has virtually no fragrance - it certainly does not have that horrid sunscreen smell. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to be able to get this sunscreen in the UK, it blows the competition out of the water, also don’t be fooled by the version of it in a well known UK Drug/Chemist it is not the same at all, it’s not made in Japan (it’s made in Canada) and you will be very disappointed.
