From that chain to the ground is 10 feet 4 inches. fully down the chain hook is 11 inches from the ground. so that would be around 9 foot 10 inches from top to bottom Hope that helps. **Q: Can I attach the top hook to a support bar that may be 2" in diameter. If not, what is the largest support bar the hoist can work with?** A: Best I can tell is 1 inch is about it.
