It came with an instruction manual and a quick start guide sticker, which was very helpful. It came with a charging cable that appears to be USB-C.Physically it is pretty sturdy and has a thin, sleek, smooth design. It connects magnetically to the Surface Pro and closes carefully without being obstructed by the case. ### ⭐ Don’t bother- Hasn’t connected to my Surface Pro once . *by on Reviewed in the United States August 27, 2025* It has not (not once) connected to my Surface Pro without me having to go into settings and connect it through the Bluetooth menu. It doesn’t work like the real thing👎 ### ⭐⭐⭐ If it connected faster, I’d love it *by on Reviewed in the United States October 6, 2025* Like most 3rd party Surface type covers, this one uses BlueTooth rather than the integrated connection. The cover does make a nice solid connection and stays put just like a Microsoft brand type cover. The keys are responsive and the touch pad is also quite good. Where I have a problem is in the actual reconnection of the Bluetooth. It takes a while for the thing to wake up. Once it does, it takes a while for the Surface to notice it. I often find it faster to just turn off and back on the type cover. Sometimes when waking the keyboard up, it will be choppy for up to 30 seconds before the connection stabilizes. I’m not saying don’t buy this product. Just understand that there are some frustrations using it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Zoof Type Cover for Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ / Pro 7 / Pro 6 / Pro 5 / Pro 4 / Pro 3, 12.3 inch, Ultra-Slim Wireless Tablet Keyboard with Multi Touchpad Bluetooch (Black Without Backlit) - Case for 12.3" Microsoft Surface Pro 7+/7/6/5/4/LTE Protective Rugged Cover Case, with Stylus Pen Holder and Hand Strap, Compatible with Type Cover Keyboard, Black - Metapen Stylus Pen M1 for Microsoft Surface (75-Day Battery Life, Smooth Writing), Compatible with Surface Pro 11/10/X/9/8/7/6/5/4/3/Book 3/Laptop 4/Studio 2, ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 for Students&Doers --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/655170990-type-cover-for-microsoft-surface-pro-7-plus-pro-7](https://www.desertcart.us/products/655170990-type-cover-for-microsoft-surface-pro-7-plus-pro-7) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
