I wanted one that had really strong velcro and wouldn't fall apart like others I have had. I sweat a lot when I run so I wanted something that wouldn't be affected by that. The velcro is really strong and it isn't glued in, it is sewed which I like a lot because it is a lot more reliable.The place where you phone is held was a little loose for my iPhone 5S. It's not too bad, but I would prefer it to be more snug in there. Also, the armband itself is somewhat tighter than I expected. The band goes through two holes to tighten, but I can't wear it at all that way, I can only wear it through the last one. Lastly the place where your phone is held isn't secured in with Velcro or a snap, but it just folds over. I love the key holder part, which is one of the reasons I chose this particular armband, b/c I have a hard time trying to figure out where to put my key when I go walking. I also thought the price was very good compared to other brands online or in the stores, esp with the added key holder. I wish there were different colors though. I am only giving a 4 b/c I haven't used it for running and have only used it twice so far, so my number may change to a 5. I have trouble finding arm bands that are small enough and won't slide down. If you put the velcro band through the slot closest to the phone opening you can get a really snug fit!! I like how the top flap covers the top of the phone in case I get stuck out in the rain. You can also fit a bunch of stuff behind your phone which is nice for long runs.
