And this sure looks like, well, French roast coffee. But it's like something you see in a thick fog near the old wharves along the bay. How much is real? How much is wishful thinking? For the money, it's likely to be a good deal for most. But for anyone seeking that rare, deep and vibrant SF French roast flavor, this could be a disappointment. But considering the few double French products out there, and the price, it's certainly worth a try. We've bought it several times, each time hoping the roasters had waited a few more minutes. And each time disappointed. Ummmm.... as to the "thickness" question above, it's water. Not Jello or spackling.
