I'd made the mistake of buying some Wustoff knives that had nasty cheap plastic handles, so wanting to be be sure this time around. Well these knives are the business, nicely weighted, razor sharp and comfortably shaped handles. But the best thing about this set, apart from the superb quality, is that they are the right mix of sizes for everyday use. So many sets have too many long knives and too few small/medium knives. This set doesn't have a lot of knives but they are exactly the ones you need. Just two things to be aware of, the block is angled at about 45o and hence does protrude a bit across the worktop and the handle of the sharpening steel is not Henkel branded (different to the one shown in the graphic). Overall, this is an amazing value set of knives that look and function of professional quality. The quality of Zwilling is well known, the handles are much ergonomic, the knives are light but well balanced and their sharpness and sturdiness are just perfect.
