The ULTA offers a usb port also. This allowed 90 minutes of streaming programming for backup and pause in some situations. The NEWER Ultra units (starting in 2020) have a USB Type-A port for personal photos or other media. Roku claims the newer Ultra units from 2020 with the USB did not need additional memory as they already have more than prior units. Some consumers disagree, but from my perspective there is not an abundance of disagreement.
