They also aren't keen on taking any pills. So, while I know that healthy food is the optimal source of nutrition, it just wasn't possible. I did some research and asked around about a drink that could replace a multivitamin and Orgain kept coming up. I loved that it also had 16g of protein, because this family member also doesn't eat enough and struggles to keep weight on. Not to mention the protein is whey from grass fed cows! So many of the protein sources in such things are soy-derived. After reading about the effects of soy (and how it acts like estrogen in the body) I only allow a small amount in my diet and that of my kids. Plus, the benefits of grassfed over industrial grain fed are clear...not to mention easier on the conscience . So far we have tried the chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. This family member is also very picky, but loves the strawberry cream flavor! Vanilla is our second favorite. When I bought them, I tried them and I now buy them for us too. My kids love them! And I drink them now as a treat.
