I did have some problems with it squeaking a little, but that was fixed by tightening some of the screws. Upholstery is soft and looks fantastic Review: Looks great - but quality disappointing - This is a good looking bed, and easy to assemble, but it's not very sturdy. There's a large gap at the bottom between the end of the slats and the frame. There's also an awful lot of creaking when you move around. I'm pregnant so weigh a bit more than usual, but still not more than 11st. I really think a bed should be able to take that kind of weight. All in all, disappointing for a master bedroom but a good buy for the money.
