I needed to take her to the doctor and we were riding a medical transport. I picked this particular bag because it has water bottle holders on both sides so I was able to put a bottle of water for her and my water flask. The interior was large enough to stow items that my mother needed as well as to put my purse. It zips open and closed very easily with those easy to grab loops, and it has an interior open pocket to slide papers or other slim items, as well as a zip pocket on the outside which easily held a couple of magazines. Most importantly, at least to me, is that this bag has straps that go over the wheelchair handlebars as well as a separate crossbody strap in case I needed to carry it separate from the wheelchair (this made it handy for me to pack the bag at my house to take over to where she is living). There are other bags on the market where the wheelchair handlebar straps have to be converted to make a crossbody strap. This is much more convenient.Also, the material is fairly thick and feels very sturdy.
