I have been buying vanish ever since having a toddler who always has stains which need removing from her clothes and I have found it works really well. I put a full scoop into washes with a few items of stained clothes and it seems to work really well and gets the stains out. Sometimes though if you only have a small stain or 1-2 items of stained clothing half a scoop can work well rather than the full scoop which saves on powder.
