It is easy to assemble, easy to take down, and easy to store. It is lightweight and comes with a storage bag, which is used as a weight to help keep the Shibumi in place when the bag is filled with sand.As long as there is a breeze, your Shibumi will be flapping and protecting you from the sun. We had the smaller version and loved that so much we decided to try the larger one for when we have company. The larger one also comes with weights (small bags that you fill with sand) that you clip onto the two back flaps in case it is a very windy day. To pack up at the end of the day, remove the poles from the sand, slide off the fabric, and break down the pole. Then slide the poles in the dedicated pocket in the Shibuimi bag, and stuff the fabric into the larger pocket of the bag.
