These are fantastic….the best I have purchased yet!

Three problems actually - (1) the pitch on the threads is not as tight as it should be so if you could tighten the ring, it would change the die's distance to the shell holder. (2) the cut they used to "split" the ring is twice the size needed, that puts an undue amount of stress on the tightening screw, which leads to - Problem (3) the head of the screw is very soft and strips out when little to no force is applied to the hex key (provided).Just not worth the effort to even try another replacement set.

They do exactly what they're designed to do, I have no complaints.They even came with a velvet pouch, just in case you wish to set them on the console of your Lamborghini. HA!

Nicely polished and made of steel. These are just slightly thinner than the comparable Forster lock rings (7.9mm vs. 8mm) and a bit smaller overall, but they do work in a Coax Press. The lock screws provided hold them securely on a standard 7/8in die.I think these are a good buy for what they are. Some of the other brands of lock dies are overpriced, in my opinion, and can be hard to find. These offer a nice alternative. And, they even come in a nice velvet drawstring bag.

These locking rings IMO are needed on every die set. Much better design than the 90 degree set screws. These rings make an older set of dies look new again. I’m sure that I’ll be buying more later on.

If you reload you know the secret to accuracy is consistency. These rings definitely help with consistency. When I have the die just as I want it I tighten these rings down and then mark the ring at the front of the press so I can always return to that exact position. I have tested these rings and find that in most cases I can get seating depths that vary as little as .003 after taking the die in and out of the press multiple times. These rings are an amazingly cheap and simple way to make your loading more consistent.
