They arrived quickly in a very nice box. They had the name Richardson Sheffield written on them and the blurb stated they had been making knives since 1800 and something so imagine my surprise when, on the bottom of the box, it said made in China. I genuinely believed I was buying a British product not something made in China. That said, they are nice knives and very sharp. The wooden block is also nice quality. I am one for buying British made products where possible to support British industry and will be more weary next time I purchase something. Review: Perfect Knife set. - Fabulous knife set and block. What do I do please** A: That is not good at all. I am 100% sure there is a guarantee but not certain of the time scale, think it is 5 or 10 years so I would definitely get in touch with either Sabatier or Amazon for a replacement 👍🏻 **Q: Does this come in a gift box?** A: From memory it was in a nice box , but not gift box . however you could request gift wrapping as you check the item out . Its a nice set , good solid and sharp knives **Q: Do these come with a warranty?** A: I can't swear by it but believe they come with a 25 year guarantee **Q: Are the scissors supposed to come apart?** A: Yes, it makes cleaning (and sharpening) them easier. I did my research before choosing these, and I have to say I am absolutely delighted with them, so nice to use decent knives, so Sharpe, look great and good value, very happy all round. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great knife set but be aware of the scissors! *by H***D on 26 November 2019* Overall the knives (at first use) seem to be decent quality and very sharp. One thing I will mention is the scissors will effectively fall in half when you open them 90 degrees - this isn't mentioned on the item specifics page, so on our first set we thought they were faulty and sent them back. On the second (replacement) set it was the same - so I can conly assume this is by design (easier to clean?) - regardless you can use the scissors without issue, but they are not as safe as I would expect.
