My boyfriend had issues with allergies due to my cat and dog so I tried this, it TOTALLY helped. I was very impressed especially for the price point. The only thing I will note is that the first setting is very quiet, however the second and third are "loud" in the sense of it being similar to a small fan. I don't mind this at all as I'm a fan of white noise in general and while I sleep. If you want something completely quiet, this is not the device for you.
