A: If the arrangement of the pins, and the number of poles is the same it should work. Look up your magnecraft model number to determine whether it has 2,3,or 4 poles and socket size.

A: Yes.  They both have a 24 volt alternating current latching coil.

A: I believe so since I think "ac24" and "vac24" both specify a 24 volt AC control coil.
