I unepectedly added a starving, 8 lb, dumped itty, bitty pitty that has turned into a well-fed, not itty, boistrous, chewing, sweet, 30 plus pound pitty puppy to my home. Grace chews and digs on this pad, but it remains in-tact. The pad is ultra soft and thick enough to provide protection from the cold hard tile floor. It is the best pet pad I have found. I will purchase another to protect my leather sofa, because...the puppy has to be next to me and she diggs on my leather sofa...no problem for this pad.
