These really beautiful gloves let you handle broiler pans and anything that is extremely hot without your hands even getting warm. They are extra long and go halfway up your arm for extra protection. They go on easily and are very comfortable and flexible. So far they have stayed clean for months and I don't expect them to be difficult to launder. They are much better than previous pairs of oven and grill gloves I previously used. One warning though -- they do run small. I am an average size female and the large fits my hand snugly.
