I wear a size 6B in US based sizes (in European sizes I wear 36 equivalent to a 5/ 5 1/2).I purchased the color brown in 6B and the fit is perfect. I like the slimmer calves and the ties can make the fit snug (or loose) as you want. I wore them for the first time today to run errands. Overall, after 5 hours, and despite the height of the heel, it was a comfortable fit and there was no pain, pinching, etc. I wore a thin sock as well. In other words, great comfortable fit for walking around and attractive profile. It is padded well with good arch support (I have high arches) and the pitch of the foot part of the boot is well thought out so that there is no weight placed on the ball of the foot that could cause pain. I do recommend this boot highly! I intend to purchase a pair in black as well. Oh, I did spray them to make them water repellent just in case but I do not intend to wear these in the rain or snow. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love these boots *by N***I on Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2017* I LOVE these boots! I am 5'3", 105 lbs and have smaller calves that has made finding a boot that fits the area a bit hard. My calves measure about 11.5 around the largest area and most boots on the market have a radius of 13 or 14 which does not hug my calves like I want. These boots are perfect as they are adjustable. I was very hesitant because they are pricey, but I took a chance and so glad that I did. These boots in black are made of unfinished leather so I recommend using a leather protector. The boots are very comfortable and has the rubber sole that prevents any slipping. They looking amazing with pleated skirts...well with any skirts for that matter. If you have thicker calves, don't worry, you can adjust the laces to broaden them. They are zip up on the inside so you don't have to keep messing with the laces to take them on and off.
