It is no fingerpricking, shows the trend of blood glucose fluctuations 24 hours. With wearing the iCan CGM, you can clearly understand your blood sugar levles and how diet and exercise affect blood glucose fluctuations. NOTE: the "Urgent Low Alert" can not be turn off. When your blood glucose is below 3.1mmol/L, the iCan CGM App will notify you that you blood sugar is in danger range, please pay attention to your blood glucose. Review: First time user. Both devices failed within 5 days of use. Never again. - Utterly useless. I purchased 2. The first one failed after 4 days. When I started using it I checked it's accuracy against my (Sinocare) finger prick tester. The CGM showed 13.3 finger test 8.4. After 4 days it started continuously reporting extremely low readings. 3.2, finger test 5.8. Readings down to 2.2 when I know that it was ridiculous. I've now ended the first, 9 days early. Fitted the new one, following the instructions to the letter. But the app cannot find the device, even though my phone is within 6 meters, more like 60cm. I WILL NEVER BUY THESE DEVICES AGAIN. Two failed within 5 days of use and absolutely no response from Sinocare after emailing and messaging on X. Once bitten, twice shy. UPDATE: The second device finally picked up after 10-12 hours. But like the first, after 4 days it started reporting extremely low blood sugar. Check with finger prick test and it was way out. I then purchased Libre 2 sensors. So with both running the iCan device was much lower than the Libre 2. Example, Libre 2 5.6mmol/L, iCan 2.1 mmol/L. That is useless in my opinion. I have just done a finger prick test 8.1. Libre 2 9.0. iCan 4.0. How can it be 5 lower. It is wildly inaccurate. Totally unimpressive.
