Feels like wearing a cardboard piece. ### ⭐ Awful. *by H***A on 8 September 2018* Kaasu malai (coin necklace) is a huge part of my Tamil culture, made out of coins embellished with the image of Goddess Lakshmi, and traditionally worn with silk sarees. I ordered this for a family wedding, to be worn with an expensive Kanjeevaram, but I'm sorry to say that I'm utterly disappointed. The built of the necklace is fine-it seems sturdy enough to wear a few times before it probably breaks. However, the size is a bit too small and even after opening the drawstring closure fully, it's a struggle to get it over my head and onto my neck. If you're not careful, there is a huge possibility of it snapping in two. My biggest problem, however, is the colour and the finish of the necklace, which looks extremely cheap. There is a yellowish tint to it, which makes it look tacky as hell. I wish fashion jewellery brands imitating traditional jewellery like this would at least care to do some justice to the rich heritage attached to them. Highly disappointed, have returned immediately.
