The pump inside runs and the outer plastic body dances around. I had to hold it down on the ground to stop it from dancing around. Once you get over the, outer plastic body- The pump is powerful- inflated my car tyre back to required pressure in minutes. It gets Hot, so yeah give it a break between every 15-20 minutes of running. The Inflator has a flashlight built-in- unfortunately it is not LED. Still better a bulb than nothing. The Power/lighter adapter cord is long enough to manoeuver it easily around the car. The power cord, inflator cable, are all stored within the compartment built into this unit- so easy to store and carry.
