I bought this mattress protector to add protection to my existing waterproof mattress casing. Mattress casing is an excellent solution for protecting the mattress completely, but it is not easy to take off for washing, so this will make my life much easier. It looks OK and there is no issue with the sizing. It is deep enough to fit even thicker types of mattresses. The top side is fairly soft and the waterproofing on the bottom feels quite thin. This makes the protector feel comfortable and prevents any unwanted noise, however I am not sure how effective the waterproofing would be, if the protector were to be used on its own. It is not a luxury product but I believe it is good enough for the purpose it was bought. As for the price, it is the cheapest I could find, still it fulfills my needs and I think it is well worth a try.
