The adjusting seems okay but unfortunately the black rubber is gradually peeling into tiny pieces every time I use it. I'm also unable to use it nearly as much as I had hoped because the rubber is making my fingers hurt. I think I may end up using the round circle and the egg shaped squeezer more often than the traditional grip strengthener.
