As soon as this arrived, I made homemade fresh chicken tenders and they came out absolutely amazing. They were cooked perfectly and consistently through. I cooked three batches of two tenders each back-to-back. I then made frozen waffle fries which came out great as well. I also made fried home-battered Argentine shrimp which were phenomenal. Finally, I made Chicken Katsu (Panko-breaded fried thighs) which cooked perfectly one at a time. The size of this device is perfect for an individual or small family. It’s just a little shorter than an Starbucks Venti cup, for reference. I love that I only need to use 4 cups of oil (I always use out oil). Cleaning is very easy, just like a regular pot, and I used Fry Away to make my oil solidified and biodegradable, so cleanup was even easier. Some users mentioned the spatula of melting. I did not have that issue, I used it throughout the cooking process. Of course you can’t leave it sitting in the boiling oil, but to use it to stir and scoop out items works perfectly well.
