I have found that, since the mesh covers both the bottom AND sides of this filter, you really need to fill it to at least level with where the top of the mesh is with coffee. If you don't then it seems that some of the water can come out the sides of the filter without first passing through the coffee grounds & you may get a watered-down cup of coffee. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product.
