- Color: The Colors are quick drying and water reducible (2:1 Paint to water), yet water-resistant when dry. BecaUse of the low amounts of binder in the Paint, there is little to no Color shift when dry, resulting in brilliant final artworks.

This paint is amazing. It does have some extra grit which seems to give it some extra umpf when spreading it. The colors are pleasing and mellow without a loss of intensity. Turner has been my favorite brand of gouache for some time, and I think this is now my favorite set.
