**Q: How do these compare to the tork x-pro speakers? those are ok, but after about 40-50 mph i can't hear them. any with direct experience?**
A: I use these on my yz450 dirtbike and my ninja. I don’t know about the Tork x-pros but I have run helmet speakers while riding and racing dirt bikes for the last 10 years and I have a pair of these in my dirt bike helmet and they sound great and so loud I turn them down a notch. Sometimes all you have to do for helmet speakers to get the loudness is pad them out closer to your ear and make sure there perfectly centered. When I mount speakers in my helmet I Velcro them in and then I take Velcro and stick a few same size pieces back to back and use them as Velcro shims put them behind the speaker till it’s almost too tight at the speakers to get my helmet on and the work amazing. If you don’t paid them out toward your ear even the best most expensive speakers there are you won’t be able to hear. I’d try that on your torks or maybe you already have but I am zero disappointed in these speakers I love them and reccomend them to friends and put them in my snowboard helmet too.

**Q: Are these loud enough at 60, 80, 100+ MPH?**
A: Depends on your helmet and wind noise.  Speaker placement is crucial.  I've added a Lucid Labs battery operated amplifier that increases sound as well.  60, no problem, 80 gets tough to hear, 100 - I'm not paying attention to the music anymore...  I'm using a bell bullit which isn't known for being quiet...  Again, speaker placement to cover the ears is crucial...

**Q: Does cardo spirit hd require the r-l speaker reversal you have mentioned?**
A: Thank you for your question about the compatibility of our product with the Cardo Spirit HD. Based on the information available on their website, it appears that you are correct; you will need to reverse the L + R speakers with this system. The Spirit HD looks like it is using the same universal helmet mount on the left side of the helmet.  Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

**Q: Does it work with the tmax helmet intercom headset?**
A: Hi, The XSound 3 helmet speakers come with a standard 3.5mm audio pin plug. Please check with your intercom headset to ensure that it has a 3.5mm earbud/headphone audio jack.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must upgrade for sena intercom not so much if powered by a phone.

If you have a sena intercom this is a must upgrade. I have actual bass now! And way louder thank I can handle. If you've owned sena products they are great but their speakers are garbage. Basically tweeters in your ears, little midrange and no bass but good enough for communication and music if you're ok with just below average sound quality. For this price the upgrade is worth it. Be aware that these are physically deeper, so unless you have pockets in your helmet you may have fitment issues. Even in my brand new HJC rpha 70 with nice deep and oval speaker pockets with factory attached velcro the speakers press against my ears and I had to adjust them until the pressure was ok. Depending on your model of sena they may offer a 3.5mm adapter which I found for my SMH10R for $9. And regarding my comment of not recommended if powered by a phone. I tested with my galaxy s10 phone and phones don't have enough amps output from their headphone jacks to power these adequately. Which makes sense as most phones only need to power earbuds.
