UPDATE AFTER 4MO: After 4mo, this charger is garbage. Not sure what's happened, but it's been used in the same place for months but lately it's been charging SO slowly. I was just on a Zoom and it had the red charging on, and rather than charging up it discharged 12% during my 1hr meeting. I have a BRAND NEW Macbook, so it's not that. Switched to the charger that came with the computer and I'm already back up 15%. Definitely not worth it. It doesn't last. Better to just buy the real deal from Apple. PREVIOUS 5-STAR REVIEW: Listen, I was tired of playing "find the charger" every time I moved from my office to the couch. I work from home, which means my laptop is basically an extra limb, and I was over unplugging my only charger, dragging it up and down the stairs, and inevitably forgetting where I left it. Enter this little gem. I bought it purely to be a second charger—nothing fancy, no high expectations. But the second I plugged it in, I realized something: this thing is IDENTICAL to the one Apple gave me. Same feel, same fast charging, same satisfying magnetic snap. If someone swapped this with my original Apple charger, I wouldn’t even notice. The build quality? Solid. That braided cable? Chef’s kiss. The magnet is strong enough to stay put but still pops off if I trip over it (which, let’s be honest, happens more than I care to admit).
