The primary criterium is the two parts need to fit closely. As for your planks, it would depend, in my opinion largely on the thickness of the planks. If the planks were only 2-3 millimeters thick, maybe not. Movement of the planks after the fact could also be an issue. **Q: My bottle has gotten too thick. Is there anything I can use to thin the gel?** A: I would throw it away and get another bottle. If you keep the bottle in a refrigerator, it will usually last 2 years. I don't think I would try to add anything to thin it down, you don't what to get this adhesive on you.
