Review: The Tea I was Raised On - This tea is the real deal. Growing up in Bremen, it was the tea my mom made every morning. Granted, she used tea bags. But I like the loose tea to make it as strong as I desire for the kind of day I'm encountering and the size of my mug. I use the disposable cotton bags and tie them to avoid leaves on the bottom of my mug when taking the last big swig.

This appears to be and tastes like an authentic bag of Teekanne Ostfriessen tea. This is my mother-in-law's favorite tea. It was impossible to get here in the states but here it is on Amazon--Yay! And the bag appears to authentic and tastes like Ostfriessen tea. On the down side, it is twice the cost of getting it in Germany but at least one can now purchase it. My mother-in-law is a happy camper!
