I had it pulled out and re- installed a few times. I think the framers made the rough opening 1/2" too wide. This worked! I don't know the life span?

It works and sticks all by itself I didn't even have to glue it ,amazing. And it's thicker than most of the other stuff that you buy at Ace or any of the other hardware stores this is way better value and quality you will not be disappointed. Even if my sticky gives up I still would not be disappointed I would just glue it
