The Monteverde USA Impressa Fountain Pen combines over 40 years of American craftsmanship with German-engineered precision nibs, housed in a durable brass body finished in gunmetal with red accents. Featuring an extra fine #6 JoWo nib, it offers a smooth, precise writing experience ideal for professionals and enthusiasts. The pen supports standard international ink converters and cartridges, both included, and arrives in a luxurious satin-lined box, making it a perfect gift or personal statement piece.

## Description

The modern design starts at the top of the cap with a perfect square which then effortlessly transitions into the round barrel. The sleek clip also starts at the top of the cap with a spring action that makes for smooth placement and removal from the pocket. The classic Black is available with either Chrome Trim or Rose Gold Trim. The Gun Metal has striking metallic red trim and the Pearl Silver is paired with a metallic blue. Mode choices are Ballpoint, Rollerball or Fountain Pen with a large flexible nib either in Fine, Medium, Broad or Stub. Fountain pen fills with Monteverde® standard international G3 ink cartridges or piston ink converter (included).The flexible stainless steel nib is available in fine, medium, broad and stub sizes. Ballpoint accepts P1 and P4 refills and the capped rollerball accepts the G2 and W2 refills.

Review: Great colour scheme, lovely pen - A beautiful, well-balanced fountain pen at a great price. It did come with an Extra Fine nib but still writes nicely. I like that it comes with two ink inserts in black and blue although they seem on the short side. I have no "normal" Monteverde cartridges to compare with but they're decidedly shorter than Lamy ones. Perhaps they're samples. The pen comes in a nice padded case and an ink reservoir/insert is also supplied. Of course you need to have a bottle of ink on hand to use that, and I don't. While the included instruction cards have "Monteverde USA" on them, there's no information on where these fine pens are made, that I could find.
