Even when it broke, I was able to wear them for the remainder of the trip because the side band that attaches to the shoe bas is so long. Most flip flops have a small attachment to the base, so when they break off, they are done for. I was able to tuck the broken piece back into the frame and it held there. Your feet are supposed to be sort of cradled in these shoes. The red is pretty vibrant and for the most part they’re comfortable. I wouldn’t wear them for long distances, though. I feel like they might cause blisters due to the grippy texture of the plastic strap. I wear them around the house and on short errands so they’re great for that. At around $25 they’re a good value for a sturdy, comfy pair of flip flops.
