There are some variations in tone between the different pieces, making them look slightly distinct. The spatula is somewhat wide, which makes it difficult to flip certain foods—especially eggs or omelets (I assume it can't be too thin, as it would then be prone to breaking). It’s a solid 4.5 any day of the week. To extend their lifespan, I treated them with Walrus Oil and wax (this treatment needs to be repeated periodically to prolong their useful life and bring out the beauty of the wood). I missed out on the promotional period for the set that included extra pieces and a storage container; however, I was later able to find one here on desertcart made of black ceramic—which is more durable than the original wooden version and it looks much better. Best of all, I got it during a promotion with a very substantial discount.

Well made wood utensils. The teak wood looks amazing, I use them everyday and they still look great. Just remember, NEVER throw these in the dishwasher! Hand wash only, and use food grade mineral oil once every few months or when they start looking dry, and they should last forever.
