Featuring 200 kcal per 100 ml, low phosphorus content, and highly digestible proteins, it supports weight gain and kidney function. Free from grains, sugars, dyes, and preservatives, this palatable chicken-flavored formula ensures easy feeding and optimal nutrition during critical recovery phases. ## Description High-calory complete food for cats with increased energy requirements due to kidney disfunction and during recovery RECOACTIV Recovery Renal is a palatable, high-calorie food for cats who tend to refuse to eat or are weakened due to limited kidney function or chronic renal insufficiency. With its high-calorie formula, the product combats low body weight and poor general health, which are usually a consequence of insufficient food intake and metabolic changes. Cats with CRI suffer from a drastically changed sense of taste (urine taste/uraemia), which is why appetizing food is of crucial importance. The intensive flavour/aroma of RECOACTIV Recovery Renal stimulates the cat to eat. Thanks to its excellent acceptance, combined with a high energy content and at the same time reduced phosphate content, RECOACTIV Recovery Renal with its great taste and liquid texture significantly promotes weight gain in malnourished cats. RECOACTIV Recovery Renal can be given as a complete food to cover the animal’s entire energy and nutritional needs during acute phases. All RECOACTIV products include essential vitamins and trace elements, and consist of natural, food quality ingredients. They are free of grains, sugar, dyes and preservatives. ## Features - APPLICATION: RECOACTIV Recovery Renal for cats was developed to support cats suffering from kidney problems with an increased energy requirement. It can be used as a high-calorie complete dietetic feed or in combination with the usual food as a renal cat food. - INGREDIENTS: The formula contains high-quality proteins in moderate amounts and a reduced phosphate content to relieve the kidneys - cat kidney support - and to provide complete nutrition for the weakened cat. The high-calorie formula was really helpful during this difficult time.I particularly like that this pack contains three 90ml bottles. Once opened, the product needs to be refrigerated and used within 10 days, so the smaller bottles are much more practical. I sometimes wasted the larger 280ml bottle, which was a shame given the price. The low phosphorus content was another reason I liked this option for my elderly cat with kidney concerns. It’s not the cheapest option, but for us, it’s definitely worth it. I’m grateful to have had this available when my elderly boy needed extra support. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ solution for underweight elderly cats *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 15 September 2026* I have this on subscription now because it simply works wonders. our elderly Ragdoll was losing a lot of weight and had a poor appetite, now he has gained weight and happily laps this up, with or without Lick e Lix. he has only a few teeth so this is ideal along with gourmet revelations mousse meals. highly recommended. whoever developed this little miracle in a bottle...THANKYOU! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product, Terrible Customer Service *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 25 August 2025* This expensive concoction is worth paying for when my cat's health is at stake. My cat wasn't as keen as others have been on videos - she wasn't licking it from the tip of a syringe etc. however she tolerated being syringe fed and when she started eating again didn't mind it being mixed into her wet food, so I assume it tastes relatively good. The smell is not as bad as some have made out. It's for cats. It is designed to promote appetite - a strong smell is going to help do that.On the whole I am happy with the product and would buy it again. Yes, it's expensive, but it has improved my cat's appetite and therefore her overall health and the liquid appears to be from high quality ingredients. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars from me is the terrible customer service. There are two completely different feeding amount instructions when you check out the website vs the packaging. When I emailed for clarification (twice) I received no response after over a week. I didn't want to 'overdose' my cat on electrolytes etc. Seeing as this product is designed for poorly cats you would assume they would realise a quick response is essential. Oh well.In the end I figured let her take as much as she wants and it seems to have worked out okay. ## Frequently Bought Together - RECOACTIV Recovery Renal for cats, 1 x 280 ml, high-calorie complete diet food for cats with kidney dysfunction and increased energy requirements during recovery, to promote weight gain - Beaphar – Kidney Diet Food for Cats 100g – Tasty Duck Flavour – Complete Dietetic Food for Cats with Chronic Renal Insufficiency – Restricted Level of Protein – Low Phosphorus Content - Royal Canin Feline Renal Mix of Tuna, Chicken, Beef Cat Food each 85g (Pack of 18) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/642112550-recoactiv-recovery-renal-for-cats-280-ml-high-calorie-palatable](https://www.desertcart.us/products/642112550-recoactiv-recovery-renal-for-cats-280-ml-high-calorie-palatable) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
