From the manufacturer HOW TO APPLY? Surfaces must be free from grease, dust, loose material, algae. Stir well before use. Apply to damp (not wet) surfaces with a long pile roller or low-pressure spray.Ensure even coverage, especially on textured finishes to avoid ponding. Apply in two coats with 2 hours between. Add a third for semi-gloss. Dry in 4 hours at 20°C, longer in cooler temps. Don’t apply below 5°C. Sika is your best ally!

Review: Great finish.- but beware - There is one problem I had with this product - I’ll come to that in a moment because I need to make it clear that I am very happy with the finish. I used a microfibre roller and a large paint bucket to apply the sealer to my patio after I had cleaned it with industrial strength bleach. This worked really well because I wanted to avoid puddling in the slab trough areas and the roller helped prevent this. I have a larger patio by the house so this was effectively a test area to see if I will use it on the main area - and I absolutely will. It went in well with the roller and dried relatively quickly. I did leave it for a few hours but you can probably walk on it much sooner. I used about half the bottle on the patio which is roughly 25m squared. The problem I had was I didn’t use gloves, got it on my hands and it’s quite sticky. It didn’t irritate the skin but it’s something you want to avoid. Great product, good finish, I’ll buy more to do the rest of my patio now!

**Q: Is this wet look when dry**
A: Hi, to achieve a semi-gloss finish you would apply an additional third coat.

**Q: can it be this be mixed with paint**
A: It is a clear top Finnish and is to protect the finish that is already there so I would not mix it but put a coat over the painted finish after it had completely dried.

**Q: I’ve bought this for my mint ivory honed sand stone I haven’t used it yet but my walls will be finished with black slate will this enhance the black ?**
A: Hi, Sika Patio Seal does not enhance the appearance of stone it is applied to; it will provide a clear finish will minimal change in appearance.

**Q: Thanks After using the sand it had left my stones looking dull and white. Will putting the sealer on brighten them up again?**
A: I have used this product on cobbles and paviors 12 months ago. This is a sealer and it is the prime purpose of this product. It does leave a nice natural sheen which is not glossy. It doesn't hide or change the surface you are sealing but seems to protect it from getting worse. The coverage is accurate but l found if you use a sprayer it needs to be used in one go.
