Review: Drys well. Rolls well. - This pen is magic, my writing has improved tenfold. I no longer make spelling mistakes, average around 4 syllables a word, and if I close my eyes and scribble it rivals the best Jackson Pollard you’ve ever seen. Actually it’s just a great writer. The kind of pen you feel sad you didn’t bring into a meeting and spend the first 5 minutes hating the biro you resorted to because it just doesn’t feel the same. Then spend the rest of the meeting looking at your camera, dead eyeing yourself for how you could be so foolish. Drys well. Rolls well.

Refills seem to be readily available and I’ll definitely be swapping out the supplies blue refill for my preferred black ink in the future.

**Q: has anyone tried using different refills? I feel like the m63 refill is not very smooth.**
A: The way this pen is designed it will take just about any gel refill.  If the refill is too short wrap tape around the end to make it longer or stuff some paper in the barrel to take up some of the space.

**Q: Does it come with a converter**
A: Mine did not come with one.

**Q: Are there fine point refills?**
A: No lamy delivers only with M cartridge all roller balls are delivered from lamy with M

**Q: Is this color the Lamy brand 'apple green' or 'neon lime green'?**

I absolutely love this pen. It’s very well made in a sturdy but lightweight yellow plastic, with an incredibly robust pen clip. The pen’s body has ergonomic grips for your fingers that work really well and are comfortable to use. I got on with them far better than my Lamy Safari fountain pen whose nib never seemed to be in the right position to write properly. Refills seem to be readily available and I’ll definitely be swapping out the supplies blue refill for my preferred black ink in the future.

Second Lamy Safari pen, the first is still going strong years later! Just fancied treating myself to a second. If you're after a pen that will last you, don't hesitate. Refill are somewhat pricy but lovely writing experience.
