I didn't do color changes, the ombre is how this yarn comes out. I did use some from outside of cake to crochet the trim in higher contrast. The sweater received a lot of views at the Farmer's Market, many complimenting the color ("It looks like sunshine."). There's several beautiful color options, and I'm looking forward to using this yarn (in different colors) in both crochet and knit.
